The rescuer is about to be dunked at which time he will capture the victim and secure him with the cpture strap as they float downstream. At the point that the resuer is making the capture I will have turned the helicopter, staying over the pai below and track with them at the speed of the water. Posted by Hello

Updating old records
After almost 7,000 hours and 15 years of flying I kind of stopped keeping very good records of my flight time. If the fed's happened to need them, company records would be better anyway. Then I was told by a potential new employer that I would need to provide an accurate accounting of all my experience and flight time, from day 1!
After digging out all of my old log books (all 6 of them) and years worth of various company flight reports I began the task of organizing this mountain of information. If this was a tax audit I would be in a major scramble. Luckily that is not the case and it has been kind of fun so far to re-live some of the past. Plus I've run accross all sorts of things that I thought were gone for good. Like any other job I've had in the past flying has gotten old. Maybe some old memories will re-energize me.
On another note. I got stomped on my Forex trading last night. Major bummer.

Wow!
Wow, just getting ready to check out the asian foreign exchange market, checked my e-mail and someone actually looked at my site. Very cool.

More to come
That kind of is a little about what I want to do with this thing. I'll add things as I get the feel for this whole blogging thing. Should have some Vaugner playing in the background with the shot below!

At Home
Having been home from work for a few days I am constantly trying to get things done at home before I have to go back to work. I fly helicopters on a contract in San Diego and after a day of trying to get things done I finally have a chance to look at the pictures I brought back. Looks like some good stuff. I just downloaded Picasa and Hello and I'll try them out and post a few shots.
